CHARLES JACKSON'S FUNERAL
 September 12, 2015
He was buried at a family cemetery. Ned is on the right. The woman in the purple dress discovered she was standing on some ants. I felt bad for her. I have been bitten by them several times and it isn't fun.

Ned speaking to a great nephew of Bro. Jackson's. He told Ned that the land for the cemetery was donated by his great grandfather years ago. It is in the middle of the woods and isn't maintained at all.

There was a narrow dirt road leading back into the cemetery. Each car had to back up a ways to turn around and drive out.

David Come
June 27, 2015
This was after Christina and Sue Reh found out David wasn't going to live. Christina was so pleased this day because David had had 3 days of being awake and alert.

July 1, 2015
Necklaces were made from beads that represented all the appointments, tests and hospital stays that David had since coming to the United States about a year ago. Christina had strung the beads herself. She also made a bracelet that David wore on his wrist.

Esther, his aunt, me and Myo Aung. The picture was made by the medical and social care givers that had worked with David.

One of the nurses brought these new clothes for David the day before and took he and his parents outside to take pictures of them.  All tubes were gone, except for oxygen at this point.

Sue Reh, his father, E. Smith, E. Gallagher, E. Christiansen were the pallbearers. Ned and E. Kallas were honorary pallbearers.

July's Birthday
July 26, 2015
July Soe is a 14 yr old investigator. He has the liveliest personality. His birthday was on the 22nd and Hsa Klay's, (5,) was on the 14th.

July invited the elders and us over for his birthday. They saved the cakes until we got there. They sang Happy Birthday about 3 times and clapped while they sang.

E. Christiansen was moaning because they had 2 meals that afternoon and he very full. He hoped they didn't have food.

Food they had. After the cakes were cut and passed out they started bringing the food over and setting it down in front of us. It was 8:30 at night. Every time a plate was nearly empty they filled another one and brought it over. I just couldn't eat the fried chicken. I finally asked if I could take it home with me. They had been eating since 5:00 and weren't eating anymore. They are so kind and good.
