April 24, 2015
Sister Jacobson, me and Sister Carlile
All the sisters in the mission were able to attend a session at the temple in April. I drove the Lumberton and Dunn sisters up. It was a wonderful session. Afterwards we ate lunch at a little pizza place that Sister Jacobson recommended. Great Day!

 May 2, 2015
We drove Sister Maung and Sue Reh up to the hospital in Chapel Hill. At this time David had been in the hospital a month. He is still there today, (6/11/15.) I can't imagine how lonely Christina gets.

Sue Reh stood right by David's bedside talking to him and playing with him. It touched my heart to see them together.

Elder Persè loved to teach with "object lessons." The lesson on this day was about asking the Holy Ghost for help. He blindfolded the missionaries and had them feel their way around 2 cars by hanging onto a rope. When they asked for help they could take their blindfold off and let go of the rope.

Pre-Transfer day. Me, E. Rushton, E. Morrel,(ZL,) E.Firmage,(ZL transferred to be AP,) E. Smith,
E. Gallagher, E. Persé, (transferred,) E. Harper, S. Jacobson, S. Carlile.

TYLER'S VISIT
 May 24-25, 2015
Luther Britt Park

Abigail & Lucy loved going across the street from our apartment to play on this tire swing. There isn't a lot to do in Lumberton. We played at parks, played games, made cookies and enjoyed visiting.

Abigail was very proud of the flowers she picked while we walked on the path at Northeast Park.

This is in front of our apartment just before they left for home. Thank you Tyler for taking the time to come. It was a wonderful visit.

WARD PIG PICKIN

Mary Lin, Tewa Lay, Day Say, Sae Meh, Per Reh, Tin Myoe. They always want to show the victory sign.

Claudia Blake, (from Peru,) and daughter, Macy.

Sister Jacobson, Elder Gallagher and Sue Reh playing ball.

Pa Meh and Jackson Aor. She is Sae Meh's mother. This is how they pack Jackson around and put him to sleep.

 May 31, 2015
At the hospital holding Sally. She was 1 day old. (Difference in cultures: Pure Reh stayed home with the other 3 children while the EMS took Ma Meh to the hospital to have the baby alone.)

 June 3, 2015
Beautiful clouds when we were driving home from White Lake.

Some of the homes here have huge front yards. Some have trees, some don't.

Mary Jackson and Ned under Mary's Yellow Maple. She said it is the only one in Lumberton. She has had people stop just to take a picture of it. We estimated that it could be 75 years old. The trunk and bigger limbs are full of woodpecker holes. They have beautiful trees here.
